The Digital Summit (formerly the National IT Summit) is the central platform for shaping the digital awakening with everyone involved.
It addresses the central fields of action of digital transformation in eight thematic platforms.
In these platforms, representatives from business, society and science develop projects, events and initiatives throughout the year that are intended to advance sustainable digitalization in business and society.
At the summit, the results of the work will be presented, trends will be presented and digital policy challenges and solutions will be discussed.Under the annual focus topic “Digital transformation in the changing times.

“Future-oriented.” This year’s Federal Government Digital Summit will take place in Jena on November 20th and 21st, 2023.In addition to Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz and the organizing federal ministers Dr.
Robert Habeck (Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection) and Dr.
Volker Wissing (Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport), numerous other federal ministers as well as high-ranking representatives from business, civil society and science are expected.
